In the late 1980s, when Vietnam began to innovate, I found a need for a managerial faculty in the Technical university for technical students to study not only techniques but also to aware of economic management in their operation and theirs work. Moreover, when management is in association with the technology, the management attribute of the SIM will be more superior than other management faculties.
School of Industrial Management – HCMC University of Technology had been established since 1990. It is contributing to the increasing demand in the field of training and research on management in Vietnam.
SIM commits to create intellectual value for society through the combination of knowledge creation activities (scientific research), knowledge transfer (training) and knowledge application (Consulting & Applications) in the field of management.
The knowledge and skills learned at SIM helped me to operate my Saigon Hoa company better. I truly believe that I was luckily destined to be a SIMer.
I have been taught worthwhile knowledge and essential skills. Teachers had huge enthusiasms. I am proud to be a student of SIM.
During my working and studying time, for 10 years, I have never regreted about the decision to register to apply for SIM.
A great learning process with opportunities to access various essential knowledge from marketing, production management, management information systems, finance or personnel will help you develop analysis skills and management skills in all areas.
